Economic Progress

A new lesson is out!

In this lesson we cover how economies progress, and discuss who actually reaps the largest amounts of benefits from this situation.

This is an average length for a video, as we've gotten used to reaching the 10 min mark...the new addition is that we inserted some video, and hopefully we'll be able to do more of that.

The key thing of this episode was the length it took to produce it. Because of legal reasons, we have had to be very careful about either creating our own content or finding creative commons images, and finding the right image that fits the narration can be a difficult task.

Hoooooopefully that has all changed. We have "hired" Richard Gleaves to edit the remainder of our videos! His claim to fame is the AMAZING GaltSpeaking channel on youtube. I urge to watch these videos and see the mastery he has on picking images and even placing music to the narration. I expect that our output time will now finally get back to a weekly basis. But more importantly is for us to keep pushing forward!

THE ENTREPRENEUR!!

Hi guys, it's good to finally have another episode out! This time we are discussing the role of the entrepreneur. Anyone who engages in fixing a production process in the market can be an entrepreneur!

This episode took a little longer to write, and a lot longer to publish. Viewers have expressed that they like our use of creative commons images to go along with the lessons, but that also adds to the production time as we try and find appropriate images.

This is also the longest episode to date. I've been realizing that the next few episodes are going to have to cover a lot of ground to meet the lesson plan I set out when I started the series. I'm never sure how long these are going to be, but then again, when the information is interesting, who cares!

Neglect! I love my blog!

OMG I have been neglecting my blog and that's just wrong!

So, what exactly have I been up to since my last post? More episodes of course!!

Episode 18 and 19 have been a big success on YouTube, and I think the lessons just get that much deepers and fullfilling with each additional brick we lay in our logical road to understanding!

Help me translate more episodes!

I can't do this alone! I appreciate all the help in translating and transcoding (captions) that I've gotten from viewers in the past! The more languages we can get on my videos, the more we can help spread the word about Praxeology! So now, I present you guys again with the link page to all the episodes thus released so that you can collaborate with other people who speak your language to help translate the lessons! We already have English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Hebrew, Portuguese, Polish, Italian, Czech, Russian, Finnish, but there's many more we have to work on! Love you guys!

An Update with Donations

Hi guys, so throughout this past year, my team and I poured our heart and minds into creating this show and I want to thank EVERYONE who donated to help keep our show running. This year, with more and more interest in the science of Praxeology, a lot of potential donors started nagging me about accepting an "easier" form of payment. As I said in a previous post, I value Bitcoins for their anonymity among their other qualities.

But after talking it over with my director Robert, he pleaded and convinced me to add a Paypal button to my blog and on our videos with the explicit promise that depending on how much we get in donations, he will quickly convert the dollars either to bitcoin or silver. Robert will handle the opportunity cost for you! If there were any outstanding donations (of course this sort of thing is very rare), these could be converted quickly to gold! Luckily here in Manhattan, we have a lot of precious metals dealers at our disposal. I personally am a fan of Stacks which is near my house. But to convert these dollars into precious metals, we'd have to get over $1000 for stacks to wave the taxes.

So now there's a new way, and I totally appreciate anyone who can chip in. I love making this show, and the positive feedback makes me have hope that this science is going to keep growing. We're on the forefront of a trend guys! It's worth it to understand before everyone else! I love you guys!
